Programme presentation in Salzburg
The traditional Festival Cocktail took place on 17 November 2003 in the orchestra rehearsal hall. Artistic director Peter Ruzicka, business director Gerbert Schwaighofer and festival president Helga Rabl-Stadler presented the programme of the Salzburg Festival for 2004. President Heinrich Spängler welcomed 280 patrons on behalf of the Friends of the Salzburg Festival. Musical interludes were performed by Dietmar Kerschbaum (tenor), Thérèse Lindquist (piano) and Josef Sterlinger (horn). Delicious delicacies from Café Braun served with festival wine rounded the evening off.
