Donald Kahn hosted a cocktail party in London
The magnificent Austrian embassy in London provided the setting at the
end of November for the presentation of the Salzburg Festival programme
for 2004 in Great Britain. Several patrons and journalists accepted the
invitation of the new president of the Salzburg Festival Trust in London,
Donald Kahn, and of festival president Helga Rabl-Stadler.
Rabl-Stadler presented the programme of this years Salzburg Festival.
The musical interludes were performed by a young artist from Salzburg:
violinist David Frühwirth played works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold.
Frühwirth makes his debut on 1 August at the Salzburg Festival performing
works by Hans Gál, Ernst Krenek, William Walton and Korngold. Photos:
